The Jolion is Haval's compact SUV, competing directly with the Chery Tiggo Cross LiT and Lepas L4 on price and segment — both of which we do have on our floor right now. Haval is a Great Wall Motor (GWM) brand; we carry other GWM-badged stock, but the Jolion specifically isn't represented on our floor at the moment.

How much does the Haval Jolion cost in South Africa?

We don't sell the Jolion yet, so we can't quote our own price. What follows is published Haval South Africa pricing as of August 2026, sourced from Haval's official Jolion brochure and gwm.co.za — confirm the exact current figure with Haval directly, since list prices move through the year.

Your real rate and approval depend on the bank and your credit profile.

What's the difference between the Jolion and the Jolion Pro?

Genuinely worth untangling before you search further. The City and City Plus are the entry pair — a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic, both on the same 105kW/210Nm engine as most of the range. The Pro line-up (Premium, Super Luxury, Ultra Luxury, S Ultra Luxury and HEV Ultra Luxury) replaced Haval's older mid-spec trims with a sportier front grille, a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen from Super Luxury up, and independent multi-link rear suspension instead of a torsion beam.

The full driver-assistance suite — adaptive cruise, lane-centring, blind-spot detection, 360° camera — only arrives from Pro Super Luxury upward. If you see "Jolion Pro" and plain "Jolion" quoted at very different prices, that's why.

What engine and fuel consumption does the Haval Jolion have?

Three outputs across seven variants, per Haval South Africa's official specifications. All drive the front wheels.

Is there a Haval Jolion HEV, and is it worth the extra money?

Yes. The Pro HEV Ultra Luxury pairs a 1.5-litre engine with a hybrid system for a combined 140 kW and 375 Nm — more power than any petrol Jolion — and drops fuel consumption to 5.1 l/100km, against 7.5–8.1 l/100km on the petrol range. It doesn't plug in; the DHT transmission manages the hybrid system on its own.

At roughly R521 450 published, it costs about R21 000 more than the S Ultra Luxury petrol it sits above. Whether that pays back depends almost entirely on how far you drive a year — worth working out against your own annual kilometres before deciding.

Is the Haval Jolion available in Johannesburg right now?

Not on our floor, no. Haval sells the Jolion through its own GWM dealer network across South Africa, and it's a genuinely popular compact SUV — we just don't have one in stock at Tembani Sales at the moment.

If you'd rather buy from us — free trade-in valuation, one person handling your deal, nationwide delivery — message Tembani and he'll let you know as soon as a Jolion comes in, whether as new stock or a trade-in unit. In the meantime, the Lepas L4 and Chery Tiggo Cross LiT sit in the same price bracket and are on our floor now.

What would the monthly instalment be on a Haval Jolion?

On the published entry price of roughly R317 900, the instalment works out to around R5 670 a month. Estimate only, on a 10% deposit over 72 months at 12.5% — the same assumption set we use across our model pages. The figure you'd actually get depends entirely on the bank and your credit profile.

What's the difference between the Haval Jolion and the Jolion Pro?

The Jolion City and City Plus are the entry pair, on a 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic. The Jolion Pro range — Premium, Super Luxury, Ultra Luxury, S Ultra Luxury and HEV Ultra Luxury — replaced the older mid-spec trims with a sportier front grille, a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen, independent multi-link rear suspension and a fuller ADAS suite from Super Luxury upward. The HEV adds an 8-year / 150 000 km warranty on the hybrid high-voltage battery — per GWM South Africa's official warranty and service guide.

Is the Haval Jolion available at Tembani Sales in Johannesburg?

Yes — the Jolion Pro HEV Ultra Luxury, using a 1.5-litre hybrid system for a combined 140 kW and 375 Nm, doesn't plug in and returns 5.1 l/100km combined per Haval's published figures — noticeably better than the 7.5–8.1 l/100km on the petrol range.

Can I trade my current car in against a Haval Jolion?

Yes. Send us your car's details and we'll give you a free trade-in valuation, usually the same day. We'll factor that against a Jolion once we have one in stock, or apply it to another compact SUV on our floor in the meantime, such as the Lepas L4 or Chery Tiggo Cross LiT.
